Thinking about that one anon's dream that had Eve in it. Thinking about how it would have affected V1 in the long run.
Would it be gentler to the human-like enemies? Would it still kill them to put them out of their misery? Would it search in every face of every demon and husk it fought for a hint of what they lost?
Would V1 have wiped it's memory of Eve? To not get in the way of its programming? To be able to cope with their loss?
Would they have hard coded her into themselves, to never forget her? Or to carry the memory of punishment, of what they could not save?
Thinking thinking thinking.
Thinking about how Eve essentially showed a machine that was capable of so much violence and only knew of that blood and war that even it could remain in comfort and live instead of survive.
Thinking about how it could combine with your shipping, how it's time with Eve is reflected in how it shows their love with Gabriel, or that it finds a sweet mirror in the love given to them.
Thinking about how maybe it picks up pottery, and that they drag Gabriel into it too. I wonder if the patterns the two make are reflective of their personalities. Each of the angels absolutely end up with their own vase, probably fitting them in some way.
GOD FR ;o; i do like to think of v1 retaining something of that memory, though it has become corrupted and difficult for it to consciously interpret - however, that can’t override its war programming and how it was made to take human life above anything else. a pessimist would see v1 and believe that nothing had changed about it, that it forgot the person that had showed it kindness to revert near instantly back to its callous objectives, but that’s not entirely true either. v1, for me, can only overcome its programming on a case-by-case basis and it absolutely has to fight its code on it, to the point that it is nearly exhausting…but what could show more love? so i don’t think v1 would care anymore than it ever did for things that appear more human - they are what it was created and trained to kill - but i think it does seek recognition of someone it once knew unconsciously. because a few rare people in its memory are special. it doesn’t know if it can see them in husks, but its computer tries anyway.

IM REALLY STARTING TO GO IN THIS DIRECTION TBH…really enjoying the idea that michael comes to genuinely love and appreciate life considered to be lesser or even repulsive in some way because it stays with him, it loves him in return when little else does. it’s not just the flowers that are beautiful to him anymore, but all the insects that live with him or visit his garden and the mushrooms that grow out of moss beds. they are all his companions and he begins to feel a little bit of joy in bringing them life despite how their presence is feeding on his body. at the very least, he can feel their happiness and their safety with him…how they embrace him as he is. it’s probably foolish, but it brings him a small amount of peace to know that his body can still support life even if it’s no longer his own.
Bit of a stretch but I like to think that V2 is just chilling in the apartment while all this Michael stuff is happening, disassociating from the issue.
What happens to them anyway?
SO…SO CLEARLY….some development has gone on with v2 lately, but first point is that i do have it living apart from gabe and v1 in its own space, though v2 has more crash points for itself – it likes to change its environment sometimes, but its most lived in spaces are in fraud (for the company – largely it’s getting used to gabriel, but things with v1 are still strained at best…v1 is making an effort at least, so it’s something) and in lust (due to the human influence there – limbo is far too artificial for its liking). v2 is largely coming to terms with the idea that its dream of peace is one that will never be realized, and for now is feeding its studious nature in hopes that maybe there can still be some place for it that won’t see its potential entirely wasted. gabriel does keep it in the loop with anything it needs to know, so it’s made aware of michael and the prime souls as threats which prove to be big headaches – in time, i do like the idea it’s one of the few machines minos won’t engage on sight given v2’s particular attachment to humanity, but at first? it shuffles itself off grudgingly into the uncanny valley of limbo to avoid him. WHICH. is where it meets michael.
V2 is binking rapidly in morse code to Gabe to get his attention and help them get away from a date with Micheal but archangels barely understand morse code
WISH i could describe the journey i’ve been on since i first saw this ask a couple days ago but please understand it WAS and continues to BE something!!!! actually genuinely intrigued by the idea of mike and v2 so much like at once they are genuinely terrible with/for each other but also. v2 being so heavily modified in its resurrection as it searches for meaning in its utter disillusionment with its dream dying WHILE michael is trapped in a decaying body and is just as desperately clinging to his role as v2 once did. also just v2 being generally fascinated by him as v2 is interested in the hardware side of things…and this is the most bizarre hardware issue it’s ever seen. and i think with v2’s lasting dedication to the human race and the peace it wishes it could have brought them to the point that it destroyed itself trying to take out v1 as the embodiment of war…YEA it would hit something with mike actually. but neither of them want to admit to anything so it’s like a constant “what are we” and “you’re gross”
WHICH IS TO SAY. many such moments where v2 is like “holy SHIT get me away from this thing!!!!” but gabriel is absolutely clueless that they even have something going on while v1 is over there just [O] and it will NOT help!!!!
Some helm designs that I am trying to do for this Acrhalicorn friend of ours. Also, V1 has robbed him of his pride, dignity... along with his mane.

ooooh i like how you’re incorporating elements of his helm but fit for an alicorn!!! i esp like the chin piece - as weird as that sounds - because it keeps the right shape and covers his mouth as well ^^ CAN’T BELIEVE V1 SHAVED HIM THO……yet tbf….how else is it ever gonna experience a mane for itself??? gabe should be more understanding to those in need (machines with no hair)
How many fallen angels do you think there are in hell? there must be a few if Mike was able to observe the process enough to try it himself. Are they all secured in Treachery or have they been hiding from machines and angels in the other layers?
Would they welcome Gabe to the club?
oooooh yes the other fallen angels!!! in the inferno, the fallen angels are met only once the poets arrive at the gates of dis - that is, from heresy downward - so i think of them being largely concentrated in those circles (despite their sins coming from any of the layers). there are rare fallen angels that exist outside of dis and make it to the upper layers, particularly now with the angelic presence in hell much lower, but v1 never encountered them because of this scarcity. likewise, while heresy is meant to have its gatekeepers, gabrel had likely scattered any fallen angels that surrounded the cathedral before v1’s arrival as the last thing they would want to deal with is a pissed off archangel lol so i have any fallen angels (after lucifer’s fall) living in violence and the layers past it, though there aren’t too terribly many compared to the other denizens. i actually have them very secretive by nature, ashamed in the way gabriel initially was and, like the sinners of the lower layers in the inferno, not wanting themselves known to outsiders while they can be brutal to the sinners living with them. gabriel would absolutely make them curious though - he is incredibly powerful and high-ranking amongst the choirs, but most of all he was an archangel. someone like that hasn’t fallen since lucifer, so i think they would spy on him from shadows since they still don’t wish to be seen by v1 (considered an outsider despite being inhuman)
